Rice Tiwul Ingredients:

  • 700 grams of dried cassava
  • 300 grams of brown sugar
  • 400 grams of grated coconut
  • 4 pandan leaves about 20 cm long, tied in a knot
  • 1 Banana leaf sheet
  • 700 ml of water
  • Salt to taste

How to make Tiwul Rice:

  1. First, cassava The dried one (Gaplek) is ground into flour, then sprinkle with a little water, then mashed again until small grains are obtained. Set aside first, because this is the main ingredient.

  3. After that, put the cassava flour into the pan.
  4. Then, add the shaved brown sugar on top, then steam for about 1 hour. Remove after Tiwul is cooked.
