Tiwul Rice Recipe
Rice Tiwul Ingredients:
- 700 grams of dried cassava
- 300 grams of brown sugar
- 400 grams of grated coconut
- 4 pandan leaves about 20 cm long, tied in a knot
- 1 Banana leaf sheet
- 700 ml of water
- Salt to taste
How to make Tiwul Rice:
- First, cassava The dried one (Gaplek) is ground into flour, then sprinkle with a little water, then mashed again until small grains are obtained. Set aside first, because this is the main ingredient.
- Next, heat the steamer and cover it with banana leaves.
- After that, put the cassava flour into the pan.
- Then, add the shaved brown sugar on top, then steam for about 1 hour. Remove after Tiwul is cooked.
- Next, steam the grated coconut along with pandan leaves and add salt to taste, for about 15 minutes, then remove from heat.
