Ingredients Cenil Recipe:
- 75 grams of wheat flour
- 75 grams of tapioca flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Enough hot water
- Red, yellow, and green coloring
Brown sugar sauce:
- 150 grams of brown sugar, finely comb
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 50 ml water
- 1 pandan leaf
- Sprinkled:
- Steamed grated coconut
How to make Cenil Recipe:
- Mix flour, tapioca flour, and salt, mix well while pouring hot water little by little until the dough can be shaped.
- Divide the dough into 3 parts, then each is colored red, yellow, and green.
- Shape the dough into an elongated or small round using your hands on each color until the dough runs out.
- Brown sugar sauce: mix all ingredients, stir until slightly thickened, remove and cool.
- Sprinkle the cenil with grated coconut, then pour the brown sugar sauce on top.
- Cenil is ready to be served.
