Ote-Ote Recipe
Ingredients of Ote-Ote :
- 150 grams of carrots
- 150 grams of cabbage
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 stalk of leek
- 250 grams of medium protein flour
- 1 egg
- 300 ml of water
Seasonings:
- 3 cloves of garlic (mashed)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp broth powder
- ½ tsp ground pepper
How to make Ote-Ote:
- First, cut the carrots which can be grated using a grater. Also chop the cabbage, celery, and scallions.
- Next, in a bowl mix the flour, spices, and eggs. Add water little by a little while stirring until the flour becomes smooth.
- Then, add the vegetables, and stir until all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Next, heat the oil, put a ladle in the oil, and let it heat up.
- After that, pour the mixture into the ladle, and fry for a while, the dough will release itself from the ladle.
- Then, fry until golden brown, remove and drain.
- Finally, Ote-Ote is ready to be served with cayenne pepper or your favorite sauce.
