Ingredients of Ote-Ote :

  • 150 grams of carrots
  • 150 grams of cabbage
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 stalk of leek
  • 250 grams of medium protein flour
  • 1 egg
  • 300 ml of water

Seasonings:

  • 3 cloves of garlic (mashed)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp broth powder 
  • ½ tsp ground pepper

  1. First, cut the carrots which can be grated using a grater. Also chop the cabbage, celery, and scallions.
  2. Next, in a bowl mix the flour, spices, and eggs. Add water little by a little while stirring until the flour becomes smooth.
  3. Then, add the vegetables, and stir until all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  4. Next, heat the oil, put a ladle in the oil, and let it heat up.
  5. After that, pour the mixture into the ladle, and fry for a while, the dough will release itself from the ladle.
  6. Then, fry until golden brown, remove and drain.
  7. Finally, Ote-Ote is ready to be served with cayenne pepper or your favorite sauce.
